Finally Fall
It feels so good to sleep with the windows open and wake up to cool, crisp air. It has definitely put me in the mood to start decorating for autumn. I started with the mantel. I love this wreath. I was going to try and make one like it, but when I saw this one, I figured I may as well save some time . . .
I'm sure this cement squirrel is intended to be a garden ornament, but I just can't bear to put him outside . . .
A bowl of faux atop a hand painted cabinet . . .
The apple orchard scene on this cabinet makes it my favorite piece of furniture this time of year . . .
And here's another white pumpkin. She's a temporary resident. Her auction starts tonight on Ebay. She's a new design with jointed limbs. All of her clothes are removable and I made her a wardrobe chest too. Hope she finds a forever home . . .

Oh Madalynne! I love that wreath too. Can you come here to FL and decorate my house too? lol I was never very good at that but I love to look at what other people do with their homes. I'm so jealous of your cool crisp air. We still have temps in the low 90s here, with our a/c running all day. I know cooler weather is on it's way but it's always hardest in Sept because you are just so sick and tired of the heat that mid Oct just seems to crawl in getting here.
