A Trip To The Farm

One of my favorite things about fall is that it's apple season. Cortlands are my favorite . . .

The first weekend of fall, we always head to Lakeside farm. They have soooo many apples . . .

And a huge assortment of pumpkins. Squatty ones in orange and white . . .

Lumpy, bumpy ones . . .

Bushels of babies . . .

And look at those cool green ones hangin' out with the squash . . .

I swear they have more gourds than you can shake a stick at . . .

And piles of Indian Corn . . .

I love the way they display the Bittersweet . . .

The pink mums are my favorite . . .

They even have a mean old Cider Witch lurking on the bakery rooftop . . .

Not at all like this pretty little Witch I stitched up. She'll be heading to Ebay tonight . . .

Hope everyone enjoyed the first weekend of fall!

Have a great week!

Good Morning Madalynne, Wow I would love to visit Lakeside Farm. Looks like a neat place and what a variety. We went to one in Ohio and I loved it. No places like that close to us. The little witch is another wonderful creation of yours. Love her, she's so cute. Hope you have a great week

What a fabulous place you've been to Madalynne. My what a person could do with all those apples!

Awww....what a sweet lil' witch - her dress is just amazing!! And is that a clay-sculpted face??? Hmmm....guess I'll have to check out the listing (like, yeah - I wouldn't be doing THAT anyway!!) And her wonderful familiar - love him!!

And apples, pumpkins, and gourds - oh my! You're making me fall off the wagon and step outside my 7-step program!! Yikes!! I could almost smell those apples! We have an orchard relatively near - but only a few pumpkins and gourds - not the variety you all have - and no bittersweet....Boo Hoo... My favs are Honey Crips....YUM!!

Happy, happy, Monday! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
