Display Chain ~ Stitched With Love

A big thank you to Misi at 1890 Gable House Musings for hosting today's display chain. It's my favorite theme so far.
Since stitchin' is my "thing", it was hard to choose what to include in today's display chain. Ironically, when I gave it some thought, it turns out that the piece that really carries the most love is one that wasn't stitched by me, but rather for me. This beautiful sampler was stitched by my daughter and was my Christmas gift in 2003. I love the "Celebrate Family" phrase stitched across the roof top.

And here's the first traditional sampler that I stitched back in 1989 . . .

And a quilt for Briana Mae in 2003. I made this ahead of time and left a space for the day of the month she was born (which I still haven't filled in). She was born on the First of July. Had she been born a day sooner, I would have been UNstitching "July" . . .
