On The Road Again

With summer coming to an end, we decided to take a quick road trip out to Vermont on Friday . . .
It's no wonder they call it the Green Mountain State . . .
We did a bit of shopping then stopped and had lunch at a quirky little cafe . . .
They had such yummy food and some silly chairs . . .
And some inspiration for a new doll character . . .After lunch, we drove to the shore of the Battenkill River . . .So my daughter could show her daughter the campsite where we spent our summers long ago. Their swimming hole hasn't changed a bit . . .Hard to believe in another month these hills will be red and gold and everything in between . . .Can't wait to go back for some leaf peeping. Until then, I suppose I should get back to work. Next on the work table is a family of kitty cats . . .

Have a Great Week!

Good morning Madalynne - A trip to Vermont sounds lovely! My sister lives in Danby, VT and owns a quaint little country store there. I can't wait to make it up this Fall.
Enjoy your week.

Beautiful place for a trip. I was just watching the news and the floods they are having, watched a covered bridge get swept away. I feel for them and hope it doesn't get much worse.

Love kitties, can't wait to see the character emerge.

Such a beautiful place for a trip. Could almost hear that water rumbling down the river. Chairs in that resturant was too cute. Can't wait to see your new creations. You never cease to amaze me. Have a great Monday
