Tuesday Display Chain ~ A Day at the Park * Parade * Memorial Day Memorabilia

Misi at Gable House Musings is back to hosting Tuesday Display Chains. Good to have you back Misi! Amy at Bumble Bee Lane did such a wonderful job in her absence. Thank you Amy!

Misi chose a great theme in honor of Memorial Day. Each year, on Memorial Day, my thoughts turn to the men and women my husband served with in Vietnam. So many of them were not as fortunate as my husband. They made the ultimate sacrifice for us. Their names can be found here . . .

Because of them, we fly our flag with pride . . .

Hubby keeps his medals and memorabilia on display in his office. I'm so thankful that he was one of the lucky ones . . .

Very touching post, Madalynne. Your husband's display is beautiful - sure does look like a LOT of medals. Thank him for me...and others....for his service and sacrifice....Even though he was one of the "lucky ones" you say, we all know there were sacrifices he made...
