Tuesday Display Chain ~ Spring Cleaning

This week's Display Chain is being hosted by Amy at Bumble Bee Lane. So sweet of Amy to fill in for Misi while she gets her shop ready to open. A fun filled weekend put me a bit behind, so I have just one display to share. I realize this isn't quite a "Spring Cleaning" type photo . . . but I so love these Wash Tubs. And my Grandmother did indeed use them for cleaning. In my opinion, this is a much better use for them . . . I wonder what my Grandmother would think!

Can you smell that yummy Lemon Balm?

Thanks for hosting Amy!

I need to get my herbs started again. I saw one once, it was lemon pineapple, and smelled so good, but haven't seen seeds for it.

We used to bathe in one of those! I remember standing up so Mom could rinse our hair! :) Those really were the good old days!

Love your wash tubs, I just picked up my husbands grandmothers, who past away at 103 a year ago, wash tubs, I just wanted something that reminded me of her and her very long interesting life, could you imagine all the changes she had seen in her life. Vicky

Your plants are luscious!! as if i can smell them. ..i am within 200 miles of you and my lemon balm is still so short ;0(
Perfect use for the tubs.. I'm inspired :0) I have a wood frame that holds two tubs for laundry.. I'm thinking of putting it by the tomatoes for a basil garden ;0)
Thanks for sharing *Have a wonderful day!

Beautiful Madalynne - I always anticipate what you'll come up with, and you never disappoint. There's something so compelling of that wonderful rich, earthy, green against galvanized metal. Grandma would be impressed I'm sure! Wish I COULD smell it! Smiles & Hugs, Robin
